The initiative is part of the SME financing policy already undertaken by the Bologna Competence Center and which finds, after the signing of the agreement with Warrant, an important opportunity for growth.


An important partnership has been signed betweenBI-REX Competence Center and Warrant Hub in order to increase and enhance the financing services for Small and Medium Enterprises. The agreement with Warrant, engaged for more than 25 years in subsidized financing activities for businesses, represents an important opportunity for all those companies that need to embark on a path of technological innovation and digitization.

Through this new collaboration, SMEs in Emilia-Romagna will have the opportunity to jointly take advantage of professionalism in subsidized finance and experts in Industry 4.0, especially from a European perspective and with a view to accessing the funding provided for by EU calls. It is in fact an important partnership in particular after the inclusion by the Ministry of Economic Development of BI-REX ++ among the candidates to become one of the next European Digital Innovation Hubs: Warrant Hub is in fact a partner of the project that focuses on on HPC and Big Data.

There are several solutions already proposed in the coordination tables that were held between the two organizations to begin offering services to the companies that are most suffering from the restrictions due to the pandemic crisis. In addition to the proposals for European funding (including call Horizon Europe , SME Instrument, LIFE calls) there are also:

  • Research & Development Tax Credit;
  • Technological Innovation and Design;
  • Instrumental Goods Tax Credit;
  • Training 4.0 Tax Credit;
  • Other incentives for digital innovation and the ecological transition of companies;
  • National calls (PON);
  • Regional calls (POR, PSR).

Thanks to this deal, BI-REX and Warrant Hub will constitute an important front alongside companies to better design innovation plans to guide them in every aspect towards a future 4.0. For more information, you can contact us at:
