Now in its fourth edition, the Smart Manufacturing Summit is the only event in the Italian technology community designed to promote dialogue between IT and OT managers, involving the various stakeholders interested in innovation processes.

The event will have, as usual, a “bifocal” perspective that includes a more strategic scenario and at the same time working tables aimed at distilling the most important instances for the growth of the sector. During the event, The Innovation Group’s “Smart Manufacturing Survey 2023”, carried out in March 2023 with the aim of measuring the level of maturity achieved by Italian manufacturing companies on the path towards digital transformation, will also be presented.

On Thursday 3 May from 17:30 to 19:30 there will be a plenary session answering the questions:

• How to reduce the skill gap and enable knowledge transfer to continue the digital transition;
• Is sustainability sustainable? A delicate balance between rules, market and ethics;
• The use of funding (NRP and beyond): not to dissipate the impact;
• The role of servitisation for the development of manufacturing.

Among the speakers, BI-REX Director General Stefano Cattorini, with contributions from leading companies in the ICT industry.
