The development of the project will include the finite element simulation of the cooling systems designed to assess the thermal, fluid-dynamic and mechanical performance of the structures and a comparison of different construction layouts. A cooling system will be studied that, using these plates, can allow optimal cooling of the entire converter. AM demonstrators of the designed structures will then be built, and a prototype converter will be constructed to demonstrate that the assumptions made during the study phase are actually achieved. An important part of the project will be the electrical, thermal and mechanical characterisations that will be performed on the converter prototype in an operational environment to validate the entire solution.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-panel panel-default panel-0ab9162022c8969f5 fusion-toggle-no-divider fusion-toggle-boxed-mode\" style=\"--awb-title-color:var(--awb-color8);\"><div class=\"panel-heading\"><h3 class=\"panel-title toggle\" id=\"toggle_0ab9162022c8969f5\"><a aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"0ab9162022c8969f5\" role=\"button\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-target=\"#0ab9162022c8969f5\" href=\"#0ab9162022c8969f5\"><span class=\"fusion-toggle-icon-wrapper\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><i class=\"fa-fusion-box active-icon fa-angle-down fas\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><i class=\"fa-fusion-box inactive-icon fa-angle-right fas\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><span class=\"fusion-toggle-heading\">Role played by BI-REX<\/span><\/a><\/h3><\/div><div id=\"0ab9162022c8969f5\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"toggle_0ab9162022c8969f5\"><div class=\"panel-body toggle-content fusion-clearfix\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Provision of services, Pilot Line and infrastructure<\/strong><br \/>\nThe project will make use of BI-REX technologies and services, in particular with regard to the use of the Pilot Line. BI-REX will provide expertise, equipment and facilities related to the Additive Manufacturing area of the Line in order to: realise several demonstrators with different layouts; propose and realise specific treatments on the demonstrators.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sharing, use, dissemination of product material and know-how <\/strong><br \/>\nSharing the vision and values underlying BI-REX, the partnership envisaged an activity aimed at the production of material to be shared (possible articles, presentations, reports), with a view to dissemination and diffusion of know-how.
